Merriam Webster, the voice of linguistic authority, defines the word insane as follows: not sane, mentally ill, deranged, demented, very foolish, or senseless. The New Covenant required repentance and conversion - a true born again experience - followed by instruction in righteousness and oneness with the Creator.
