"Daughters of Jerusalem weep not for me, but weep for yourself and for your children" WASHINGTON D.C .......Alternative facts is a phrase used by the Counselor to President Donald Trump -- Ms Kellyanne Conway -- during a interview on the news show Meet The Press. She coined the phrase while trying to defend the White House Press Secretary -- Sean Spicer's -- comments about the attendance at President Trumps inauguration. According to news sources that were there, The Press Secretary told a flat out lie regarding the attendance amounts, however, the Presidents Counselor, Mrs Conway, described the lie or falsehood, as merly "alternative facts." Apprently, Mrs Conway derived the term, alternative facts , from a novel published in 1949 by English author George Orwell. The novel describs a time when a fictious country is under the rule of a governmernt called The Inner Party, aka, Big Brother. ...
